Mandated Reporting

As a Licensed Associate Counselor in Arkansas, I am legally required to report certain situations to protect safety:

Required Reporting Situations:

Child Abuse/Neglect: Suspected abuse or neglect of anyone under 18 must be reported

Adult Abuse/Neglect: Suspected abuse of elderly or vulnerable adults must be reported to Arkansas Adult Protective Services

Imminent Danger: If you present a serious threat to harm yourself or others, I must take protective action, including contacting emergency services and/or warning intended victims

Court Orders: Information may be disclosed when required by court order

Other: Prenatal substance exposure harmful to mother/child; certain communicable diseases; placement on public safety registries
